Eco Park, located in New Town, Kolkata, is one of the largest urban parks in India and a popular destination for recreation and leisure. Eco Park in Kolkata was constructed in 2011 and officially inaugurated on 29th December 2012 by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee. The park was developed by the HIDCO (Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation) with the aim of creating a sustainable green space in the rapidly developing New Town area.
It was designed by architect Dulal Mukherjee and has since become a landmark recreational space, drawing visitors from Kolkata and beyond. The park highlights eco-friendly initiatives and blends nature with modern leisure facilities.
