Even though we all love to dress up during Durga Puja, I would recommend wearing comfortable clothes and flat sandals—especially if you're planning to go pandal hopping or join a Bonedi Bari Parikrama. Comfort is key when you're exploring and soaking in the festivities!
Carry an umbrella—it can get quite hot and scorching during the day. A small foldable one works best for convenience.
Be polite and dress modestly in traditional attire, as you’ll be attending a family affair. Remember, Bonedi Bari Durga Puja Parikrama is a deeply personal and spiritual celebration for the host families. This is the only time of the year when you get a rare opportunity to step inside the grand, heritage homes and witness their opulent interiors, age-old rituals, and rich cultural legacy up close.
