Trip Itinerary 2 Nights 3 Days Sundarban Tour Packages​
Day 1- 8 Am : Leave Calcutta by Air Conditioned Car/Passenger Van. Guests can also have a pick up point from Science city at 8.30 am. Packed Breakfast is served on the bus. We stop for tea/coffee on the way. Three and half hours of journey to Godkhali, the last road ends here in India Mainland. 12 Noon: Board Boat then visit the island of Gosaba which is the biggest market for hundreds of villages around. Also visit Rabindra Nath Tagore Bungalow and Hamilton Bungalow.
2.30 Pm: Reach our Resort on the island of Sonagaon Godhkhali, followed by lunch.
4.00 Pm: A walk through the beautiful paddy fields and the village of honey collectors and fishermen, looking out for local rituals and beliefs. This village has no cars or electricity.
4.30 Pm: Boat ride for bird watching, during two to three hours, spotting seven types of kingfisher, egret, brahmani eagles, pond heron, black cormorants, etc and above all getting introduced to the lovely mangroves, with surreal creatures like fiddler crabs, mudskipper fish etc. 6.30 Pm: Return to the Resort, just after the sunset. 7 Pm: An enchanting evening with the local tribal Dance & Song Groups performing for you, you can join them and have a gala time. A session of refreshments. 9 Pm: Dinner is served according to the leisure of every individual guest, getting prepared to spend the night in the luxury of our resorts.

Day 2- 7.30 Am: We start as early as possible, board a Luxury boat, get the required permissions & Forest approved guide from the forest office, and head off into the jungle, with one of the biggest mangroves of the world, rich in flora and fauna. This boat cruise will last till sunset and during this period we will visit 3 watch towers, namely Sajnekhali, Sudhanyakhali and Dobanki. This Covers Sajnekhali Tiger Project, Crocodile Project, Turtle Project, Mangrove Interpretation Center, Bono Bibi Temple, Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower, Dobanki WatchTower, Canopy walk, Pirkhali, Gazikhali & other narrow Creeks,  Pancha Mukhani(Five river confluence). Cruising  the small channels and creeks we will try to spot different wildlife, spotted deer, wild boars, civet cat, monitor lizard, crocodiles, dolphins and of course the Royal Bengal Tigers. Breakfast, lunch and other refreshments will be cooked and served on the boat.

Day 3- 8 am: Breakfast is served in the Resort. 9.00 Am:  A small walk in the village for pictures of sunrise, mangroves, village and birds, or else a cycle can be provided for the ones who would like to explore the island on wheels. 12 Noon Lunch Is Served. Then we will start the boat to return to Godhkhali. From Godhkhali to Kolkata we reach about 5.30 Pm. With that we end the 2 Night 3 Days Sundarban Tour Package.​

Per Head Entry Charges for Indians is Rs 100 & Rs 200 for Non Indians. Guide Charges Is Rs 500 for Indians and for Non Indians It is Rs 1000/-. For Bonnie Camp and Kalash Island the same charges apply. For Nethidhopani Watchtowers which is only watchtower inside the core area all the charges are double. These charges sometimes changes due to peak season so you can call us before planning Sundarban tour package.

HOW CAN I GO FOR SUNDARBAN TOUR PACKAGES FROM KOLKATA?

By Train- From Kolkata you can go to Sunderbans by a train till Canning (1 Hours) from Sealdah Station In Kolkata, and then take road transport till Godhkhali (1 Hours). From Godkhali you need to cross ferry and reach Gosaba Town (30 Minutes). From there you need to take a auto van or mechanized rickshaw van for about 45 minutes to reach Pakhirala Village where accommodation is available in various resorts & Lodges. Alternately from Canning you can take Bus, Auto or shared Jeep transportation to Jharkhali where you will find accommodation. If you are travelling by train remember these trains are public transports and does not have any reservation systems or any 1st class or 2nd class compartments. These are suburban daily commute trains for lakhs of people who come and return to the City regularly for employments & other requirements. Sometimes they tend to get overcrowded and becomes very unpleasant for tourists.

By Road- There are two popular roads connecting to Sundarban. One via Baruipur Canning which is about 100 kms from Kolkata and takes about 4 hours drive due to heavy traffic. The other road is via Basanti Highway which is longer distance but the traffic is low hence the journey time is little less. So if you want to approach Sundarbans Via Godkhali you will be dropped there and take the same ferry & land route to Pakhirala. However if you want to go to Jharkhali you can directly reach there by driving your car.
