To reach Jharkhali from Kolkata by train, take a local train from Sealdah to Canning (1.5 hours). From Canning, hire a private car or shared auto to Jharkhali via Basanti (another 1.5–2 hours). Also see the crocodiles, monitor lizard, etc. 5:30 pm - Return to our stay. Enjoy evening snacks in the resort. 9:30 pm - Dinner will be served at dining place.
Day 2-
7:00 am - Embark on a full day Jungle Safari through narrow Creeks (Breakfast & Lunch served on the boat), Covering Sajnekhali Watch Tower, Mangrove Interpretation Centre, Crocodile & Turtle conservation center, Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower, Dobanki Jungle Camp and canopy walk. After which we cruise through Panchamukhani back through the 5 river confluence to reach Jharkhali.at 4.30-5.00 pm. Transfer to Stay.
Enjoy Evening Snacks over Chicken Bar B Q and camp fire(During winters). Dinner at 9 pm, overnight at hotel.
Day 3-
8.30 am - After breakfast at hotel, start on village visit to life of the locals, thatched huts, daily chores, village markets and the paddy fields. Visit some artisans and collect some handmade artifacts if you like. Later return to hotel and after lunch start for your journey back to Kolkata. Reack Kolkata By 5 to 6 pm.
1. Boat Safari to Sundarbans Tiger Reserve, Explore narrow creeks, dense mangrove channels, and watchtowers like Dobanki and Nethidhopani, Bonnie Camp, Kalash are the most easily accessible from Jharkhali.
2. Spot wildlife: Royal Bengal Tiger in the wild(if lucky), estuarine crocodiles, spotted deer, monitor lizards, and exotic birds. Here you will witness the Royal Bengal tigers in captivity. Also see the crocodiles, monitor lizard, etc. Later about 1 pm return to hotel for lunch then start for Kolkata to reach back by 6 to 7 pm.
